Columbia’s Dana Andrews is no longer on the CBS show “Rock Star: Supernova.”
The band decided it was time for her to leave on Wednesday night’s episode on CBS.
Andrews, 22, was born and raised in Augusta, but she currently plays in a Columbia-based band called “Everything After.” Andrews say she describes herself as a Southern Belle and lists Sheryl Crow as one of her influences.
“Supernova” is a group is made up of former Motley Crue member Tommy Lee, former Metallica member Jason Newsted, and Gilby Clarke of Guns N’ Roses. The purpose of the show is to find a lead singer.
Dana’s not giving up her singing career by any means.
