Lukas Rossi won Rock Star Supernova, and the rumor and gossip mill continues. Here are some breif juicy tidbits:
There was some drama when Lukas snubbed his girlfriend at the ‘Rock Star’ afterparty. On his first official night in Tommy Lee’s band, Supernova, ‘Rock Star’ winner Lukas Rossi left his girlfriend out in the cold as he partied with the band at a local club. Lukas did come out and talk to his girlfriend briefly but then went back inside the party solo. Before leaving, an agitated Francesca told photographers outside the club she wasn’t allowed in because Rossi wasn’t supposed to be seen with a girlfriend.
Lukas Rossi checked in with Canada.com after being delared frontman for the band. Asked what his reaction was when he found out, Rossi responded, “Overwhelmed, man, you know. But I wasn’t going to walk away from this without being the singer, man. I was pretty determined.” Asked if he knew going into it that he was going to emerge the victor, the Toronto native responded, “Well, yes and no. If the band chose somebody besides myself because it would have made the band what they wanted for their vision then I would step back and respect that. But, you know, I’m standing here now and obviously I was the right person for the job.”
In the meantime, news that Magni Asgeirsson didn’t win ‘Rock Star: Supernova’ was huge news in the rocker’s Iceland home, making the front page of the country’s two biggest newspapers Fréttablaðið and Morgunblaðið. Australia also reacted to the news Toby Rand wasn’t the Supernova frontman. Check out reports from Gerard Wright of the Sydney Morning Herald and Peter Mitchell of Australian Associated Press. But there were no signs of interest in Dilana Robichaux in South Africa with no metion of the tattooed rocker now living in Texas from the major South African papers.
Tommy Lee commented that for him there was never any question that Lukas Rossi was the one to front the ‘Rock Star’ band. “I realized he was the guy for us the very first day we met him. The first time I saw him, I was, like, ‘That’s my boy,’” Lee tells CanWest News Service. “All my life, I’ve always wanted to be in a band with a singer like this. You can’t teach someone to be a rock star. The way he moves … you either have that, or you don’t.

If anyone questions Tommy Lee, Mark Burnett, MSNBC, or Verizon wireless that the contest was fixed from the start… they are instantly deleted off the message boards. Hundreds of fans spent $ text voting and hours of their time over the season voting online. They owe the fans and explanation. We have been banned from the message boards and EVERYTHING we have ever posted has been deleted. Censorship is alive and rampant when it comes to SUPERNOVA.
Regardless of what Tommy Lee says, Toby has more sex appeal. Lukas is a slightly built, freaky dude with a decent voice. I wouldn’t pay to see him. Dilana had the strongest, best rock n’ blues voice of the bunch. If I had the cash, I would sign her and ride that horse to rock stardom. But what do I know? I wanted Storm to win ’cause she was smokin’hot!

Lukas is magical,beyond talented and quite frankly, a musical genuis! they absolutley made the right decision.I am sooooooooooo physched to see them when they come to Chicago.It would have been devastating if Lukas did not win. Anyone who would even suggest it was fixed is completly ignorant and unable to recognize a truly gifted artist. From the start i loved Rossi! Tommy Lee got me to tune in and Lukas made me crazy with anticipation each week to see what he was going to do.Yeah! Yeah!

What is wrong with you people that Lukas the Mukas is totally talentless. His voice is like someone being sick after eating a dodgy curry. Dilana, Toby or Magni should have won.
Tommy lee’s ears have obviously been damaged from all his drumming years.

Some people do love a good moan.
I thought the final four were amazing. But all had their drawbacks, Magni is a great guy and superb musician, but not a frontman.
Toby sounded great on Rebell Yell and his original, but some others sounded very average, like the two he played on the final night. He also doesn’t have a very distinctive voice.
Dilana had everything, but her songwriting let her down.
Lukas had a good look, a great distinctive voice, was a good songwriter and had great stage presence. As an all rounder, he was the best.
Where would the incentive be for the Band to fix the whole thing? Why choose a frontman if nobody voted for him and therefore, won’t buy his records? It wouldn’t make any sense.
Of course, all this would be dependant on three hard working musicians being all too happy to defraud their fans for the sake of a frontman, wrecking their reputations along the way.
Thats where all conspiricy theories fall down, logic.
…Oh, I forgot to mention this in my previous post… doesn’t Lukas strut around stage like he has something stuck up his butt? OK, I’m bitter. So what if Dilana can’t write a decent song? Elvis became the King of Rock n Roll off other people’s songs.
